Bengals Should Have Been Powerhouse
The Bengals had a great opportunity to be a powerhouse football team and a Superbowl Contender. They have potential contributors for this season with six picks in the first four rounds including first round pick Tight End Jermaine Gresham who should have been a huge target for QB Carson Palmer. The Bengals also drafted WR Jordan Shipley which should have opened up the middle of the field and clear the outside for Chad Ochocinco and newly signed, future Hall of Famer Terrell Owens. Improving the offense, which was inconsistent last season, should have been the focus and with the consistent running game of 2009 Cedric Benson, that should have kept pressure off of Palmer throwing to Owens and the Ocho.
