Detroit Lions The Good and the Bad
The offensive line gave QB Carson Palmer excellent protection and blocked well in the run game. Tackles Levi Jones and Willie Anderson are out of the lineup recovering from injuries, but there is good depth with this group. Blunders in the fourth quarter led to Detroit's comeback. A punt partially blocked, leading to good field position for the Lions and a field goal to cut the Bengals' lead to 26-20. The Bengals couldn't handle the ensuing onside kick, giving the Lions the opportunity for the go-ahead touchdown. Then came Graham's missed 48-yard field goal. more>
